Adventures of the brand VALENKI in China

VALENKI vodka, led by a delegation from the Diamond Holding visited China as part of a world tour in late April. The program included a visit of the world's largest exhibition, the 115^thCanton Fair and Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair 2014, and the search for new fans, partners and friends as well as sightseeing of China.

The Canton Fair is the leading exposition event in South-East Asia and the most extensive profile event in the world, the largest forum for buyers and manufacturers.

The Canton Fair of Spring 2014, together with representatives of the Diamond Holding was visited by 118,000 foreign visitors. During the three stages of the exhibition 25,000 exhibitors presented 59,700 stands. The cash turnover only in the Chinese pavilion was $ 31,051 Bln.

The Canton Fair was a great success!

VALENKI vodka gained more than 150 new suppliers for promotional, souvenir and POS-materials!  

And we went further ... to Hong Kong!

Hong Kong is a highly dynamic crossroads of Asia, a business center which, being a former British colony, demonstrated to the world supernatural achievements in the field of finance and trade, yet its roots stretch back to ancient Chinese traditions.

Hong Kong is a city-star in the Asia-Pacific region. The standard of living in Hong Kong today is one of the highest in Asia. So called Little Dragon, Hong Kong has an abundance of the most beautiful skyscrapers in the world , a large number of neon flashing characters on countless signs, a steady stream of cars, unthinkable overcrowding on a tiny plot of the land.

The International Trade Fair of gifts and souvenirs in Hong Kong, the HK Gifts & Premium Fair, is the largest exhibition of its type in the Asia-Pacific region and the third largest in the world. This colorful event, with entertainment and shows, and a network of shared interests is traditionally held in the impressive building of the Exhibition Centre of Hong Kong, known worldwide as the HKCEC.

The HKCEC is the main eye-catching part of the famous silhouette of Hong Kong Island with its extensive glass curtain and aluminum roof with area of ​​40,000 square meters, with statues  of mimicking marine birds. At the international level, HKCEC is known as a center of congresses and exhibitions of the world-class and is recognized as the Best Exhibition Center in Asia.

VALENKI immediately made photos with the statue of Ever-blooming Bauhinia, a symbol of Hong Kong, in whose honor Golden Bauhinia Square is named, where HKCEC stands.

The Bauhinia was a gift from the Central Government to commemorate the Handover of Hong Kong to China in 1997, the time, which had a great importance for the largest nation in the world, a landmark event in the history of the XX century.

VALENKI  worked at the exhibition ..

and went to the PIC, the highest point in Hong Kong, from which a spectacular view on one of the world's most famous urban landscapes is open.

VALENKI with a large observation deck, called the Celestial Terrace, reveals the glittering skyscrapers and Victoria Harbor up to the green hills of the New Territories until the sun went down.

The panorama was highlighted with pink and orange lights in the evening, and then came to life with universe dazzling night lights twinkling far below.

Next day VALENKI went to Lantau Island where at the plateau Ngon-Pin, in the village of the same name, is the world's largest bronze statue of the Seated Buddha (height 34 m).

VALENKI climbed a breathtaking 6-kilometer "cable car" Ngong Ping at the top of the mountain.

First, over the river,

and then over the green mountains.

The cableway brought us to the village Ngon-Pin.

Here the VALENKI drank tea in pleasant company

And acquainted with the ancient warriors.

Had a photo session with a Chinese model.

Starred in a movie.

Communicated with a Chinese cat.

Summoned spirits.

Rested with the President.

To get to the top of the mountain you need to take 268 steps. Each symbolizes for believers the accumulation merit for the next life.

Upstairs, near the heavenly altar Tian-Tan, on a piece of lotus sits Buddha. He symbolizes the harmony of the relationship between man and nature, between people and religion.

Concluding the meeting with Buddha the delegation from Diamond Holding went up the hill to the Wisdom Path - the path in the form ∞ (infinity symbol), lined with 38 huge wooden steles engraved with verses from the old Heart Sutra, one of the most famous prayers, revered by konyutsiantsami, Buddhists and Taoists. 

 Having charged with wisdom, energy and inspiration we said goodbye to ancient China and went with our felt boots to conquer new heights.
